Pastor Matt Haupt was born in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating high school, he moved to Langley, British Columbia to study at Pacific Worship School. Soon after completing school, Matt moved back to Dayton where he met his wife, Jonell. Since graduating from college Matt has served in full-time ministry, filling many different roles. Most recently Matt has served as the Executive Pastor at EUM Church in Greenville, Ohio where he oversees a large staff, often leads music, and preaches regularly. Matt is currently working on a Master’s degree in theology and enjoys reading, running, tennis, and spending time with family. Matt and Jonell have three children: Noah, Adeline, and Emma. I grew up in a Christian home, but my parents were first-generation Christians. I thought I had accepted Christ as a second grader in a chapel service at Dayton Christian Elementary School. Much later, I found out that following Christ is more than a prayer. It was early on in my marriage that I soon found out I was only living for myself. This nearly destroyed my marriage, but God in His amazing mercy and grace revealed Himself to me through His Word in a marriage counseling session where the pastor shared the Gospel. I had grown up in church but had never heard the Gospel shared in that way. God saved me that day, as well as our marriage. Ever since I have been trying to tell everyone the life-changing good news we have in Jesus. Jonell and I have been married for twenty-one years now and we are so thankful for His grace! God is good!
Joe was raised in Kirtland, Ohio. After high school, he attended the University of Akron to study mechanical engineering. During his sophomore year, he visited the college ministry at The Chapel, Campus Focus, where, after attending for a few short weeks, he surrendered his life to Christ. He began to develop a passion for the Lord and for college ministry. He quickly got involved leading Bible studies, serving on mission trips, and volunteering. Joe began to learn that God gifted him with a passion for disciple making. It started to become clear that God was actually calling him into pastoral ministry rather than engineering. After completing his engineering degree with a business minor, he went back to school for a Masters degree in Theological Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity while also interning with Campus Focus. Joe met his wife, Jennifer, at The Chapel and their love for each other sparked while on a mission trip in Yucatan, Mexico. They got married in 2018 and have a daughter named Naomi. Joe and Jen have enjoyed leading Bible studies and premarital counseling together and also love hosting people in their home. After his internship, Joe entered a season of leadership transition and served as the Interim Pastor of Campus Focus. Joe is excited to use his God-given gifts in his discipleship role at MissionView Church. In his free time, Joe enjoys soccer, skiing, reading, making homemade sausages, teaching his daughter Slovenian, and hiking with Jen and their golden retriever, Daisy.

I was born and raised here in Canton, Ohio where my parents homeschooled my five siblings and I. My parents led me to the Lord when I was six years old and I grew up attending Middlebranch Grace Brethren Church where I continued to learn about God and formulate my theology. I started playing the guitar at thirteen and within a couple years joined a local rock/praise and worship band. I fell in love with music through those experiences and decided to pursue music production after high school. I ended up graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a bachelor’s of business administration and a studio production emphasis. After several years of working in the Christian music industry, I decided to move back to Ohio where I now work in my family business. After briefly attending Maranatha Bible Church, I was connected with MissionView and it has been my church home and spiritual family ever since. I thank God for the opportunity to lead worship and experience community at MissioinView as it has been the source of great challenge, growth, and joy in my life for the last five years and counting! We would love to see everyone serving and being involved in an area that they are passionate about and spiritually gifted in. One of the functions of our deacon ministry is to help meet the needs of those in the church and to get people involved in using their gifts to do the same.
