Outreach Ministry
reflect
Reflect Outreach Ministry was born out of our vision as a church to reach 200,000 people in Stark County that do not claim any religious affiliation. In order to do this, we need to be intentional. We believe that Jesus needs to be felt in our schools, workplaces, cities, and communities. We seek to make this happen through practical, tangible ways that reflect Christ’s love.
The name Reflect and the logo came from the concept that the moon does not produce its own light but reflects the light of the sun. As Christians we don’t produce our own light but reflect the light of the Son!
Reflect holds monthly outreach opportunities to share God’s love in our community. We also encourage others to look at their personal life and see where God can use you and your family to reflect God’s love. Are you sharing His love while coaching your child’s soccer team? Could you start a book club in your neighborhood where you can build relationships? Through Servant Evangelism we can touch people in a way that says, “You are precious to God and He wants you to know it.”
If we don’t pray and ask the Lord to go before us, then we are moving in our own strength not His. When you are walking into the grocery store, pray that God will bring to you someone that you can share God’s love with. Pray that God will open your eyes and heart to see how He will use you! Join us in praying for our monthly outreach opportunities and that the people we interact with will feel the love of Christ through His people!

May
MissionView will be hosting a Neighborhood Block Party on May 20th at the “Creek” at the end of Clearmount Street. This neighborhood was selected for our first Neighborhood block party because many MV families live in a close radius to this park, and we want to have an even greater impact in this neighborhood. Our hope is that you will attend this event and replicate a neighborhood block party in your neighborhood this summer or even next!

On 8/12/23 MV will help serve at the North Canton Main Street Festival. We will be helping direct the vendors for set-up, work the welcome table, and provide a clean up crew during the festival. This is a great opportunity to help serve the community and build connections with people working and attending the event.
